An experienced facilitator, executive coach, and working parent, Martha founded DFS Co. through her passion for helping others become more authentic and effective leaders.
In 1:1 and group sessions, Martha’s practice is defined by her ability to balance all sides of professional development - the intellectual and emotional, the practical and aspirational, the serious and humorous. Her work is grounded in the frameworks of The Co-Active Training Institute, The Conscious Leadership Group, and Positive Intelligence.
Early in her career, Martha was a litigator in the New York State Courts and then provided internal oversight on corporate governance matters at a large health care not-for-profit. After moving into the tech sector, Martha quickly expanded beyond simply writing and reviewing contracts. She was drawn to working on the people team, figuring out how to transform the workplace into a community where individuals and their businesses thrive and evolve. To meet this challenge, Martha has loved wearing many hats over the years: Project Manager, Chief of Staff, Head of Learning and Development, and Executive Coach.
After almost two decades in New York City, Martha currently lives outside of Boston with her husband and two young boys. When she’s not coaching or consulting, Martha can be found practicing yoga, re-learning how to play tennis, or baking with her kids.
